The Damn Fan

I have an ASUS HD5770 graphics card installed on my desktop PC which covers all my needs. I was very happy with it until today when I saw a warning message on a system diagnostics utility (AIDA64) that the GPU temperature exceeded 65 degrees Celsius. Checking the card I found that the fan was stopped.

XtreMP3 Player, an open source streaming radio player

Beezo is back (or a part of it)

Beezo 2.0 is the next step on Beezo.net mixing site. The site is back but this time is a bit different.

OCZ Support (and RMA) – A five star service!

This one of my best support experiences (although is regarding a faulty product). OCZ seems to really care about its reputation and for its customers.  And I have to admit that my recent experience with the RMA and support department was the best I ever had!

I’m a happy owner of an Xtreamer device. This simple and economic home media has everything a user can ask (for its price of 100 €). Its steady, supports multiple formats, its tiny and the firmware is frequently updated adding lot of new features and improvements. The device also supports remote control and management though its simple and well organized web [...]

MS Security Essentials CPU usage issues

Lately I decided to move forward and replace  Avira antivirus protection with Microsoft’s free Microsoft Security Essentials on my home desktop computer.  I was happy with the behaviour of this security suite on my little net-book and I had no considerations about it. However when I downloaded and installed the suite to my desktop PC, which is by far more powerful than [...]
